Before Using Utsuwa (Vessels) 

Depending on the vessel, there is something with a rough bottom. That may scratch tables, cupboards, other vessels, so you had better rub them with sandpaper of fine eyes before using.

It corresponds to a microwave oven and dishwasher. In rare cases, the iron content contained in the glaze may discolor and it may be a small black spot.

Pottery

Pottery bowls are highly water absorbent and may get stained if you use them as they are. Before using for the first time, put the water after washing rice into the vessel and boil it for 15 to 20 minutes with a low heat. It does not correspond to a microwave oven, dishwasher and oven.

Please brush dirt off early after use and store it after thoroughly drying it. Pinch wash will cause discoloration and spots. If it got smelled, please make 4 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate and 1 tablespoon of vinegar for 1 liter of water If you immerse it in liquid, it becomes somewhat odorless.

It does not correspond to microwave oven, dishwasher, oven. Avoid placing long time on water or hot water. Please avoid direct sunlight because there is a risk of deformation / discoloration.  

 

Lacquer Product

It does not correspond to microwave oven, dishwasher, oven. Please avoid direct sunlight because there is a risk of deformation / discoloration. Avoid washing with steel scourer or hard part of sponge, please use soft sponge.

It is ok to use general household detergents.
